Senior Housing Properties Trust Announces Annual Meeting Results

NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Senior Housing Properties Trust (Nasdaq: SNH) today announced the results of its 2019 Annual Meeting of Shareholders which was held earlier today as follows.

John L. Harrington was re-elected as an Independent Trustee in Class II. The final tabulation of the percentage of shareholders’ votes cast for this Independent Trustee is as follows:

Adam D. Portnoy was re-elected as a Managing Trustee in Class II. The final tabulation of the percentage of shareholders’ votes cast for this Managing Trustee is as follows:

Shareholders approved a non-binding advisory resolution approving the compensation of the Company’s named executive officers.

Shareholders ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as SNH’s independent registered public accounting firm to serve for the 2019 fiscal year.
